Dr. drake exstrom

Dr. Drake is a Los Angeles native that has lived and surfed all over California, but now calls North County, San Diego his home. After completing dental school in San Francisco and his surgical residency training at Highland Hospital in Oakland, Dr. Drake is trained in broad scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He mainly focuses on wisdom teeth extractions and dental implant surgery, but also includes maxillofacial trauma, TMJ, and orthognathic jaw surgery. He found his love for community service while serving a two-year mission for his church where he also learned to speak fluent Spanish. After taking over Dr. Ted Wassel’s oral surgery practice in 2024 he has strived to maintain the tradition of excellent surgical care that Dr. Wassel established over the last 30 years. Dr. Drake’s surgical support team are there to treat every patient as family by achieving comfortable and painless treatment with the goal of a restoring healthy facial appearances and smiles.

TRISTAN FERRIS

Tristan, a seasoned registered dental assistant, has dedicated 25 years to the field of oral surgery in Southern California. As a native of the region, Tristan has built a reputation for her exceptional skills and compassionate care within the community. Her extensive experience in an active oral surgery office has made her a trusted and invaluable team member. Outside of her professional life, Tristan is a proud mother of two grown children, balancing her demanding career with a deep commitment to her family.

Liz Diaz

Liz is a dedicated and experienced professional, serving as both in the front office and an OMSA certified assistant in the dental field for over 20 years. Her dual roles highlight her versatility and commitment to patient care, seamlessly managing administrative duties while providing skilled assistance during surgical procedures. As a local resident, Liz is deeply connected to her community and her extensive experience along with her bilingual Spanish skills make her an invaluable asset to Offshore Oral & Facial Surgery and a trusted figure among colleagues and patients alike.

Madison Pellham

Originally from Washington state, Madison is the newest addition to our team, bringing in her expertise as a registered dental assistant and sterilization technician, along with occasionally stepping in as a receptionist. Known for her hard-working nature and smiling personality, Madison quickly helps patients feel at ease and relaxed. Her dedication to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency, combined with her friendly and approachable demeanor, ensures that every patient receives top-notch care in a warm and welcoming environment.
